Frank and TANK!

This is Tank is our new family member he is a boxer mastiff puppy at 10 weeks he weighs 22lb.
His birthday is easier to remember 1/1/09 :) well it was really the day before but Frank and I like the start of each month not the end!

We had Tank for almost 2 weeks now! Our friends ended up getting a dog days before us. Gretta is her name and that's Tanks sister!!! Yeah we got talked into getting the guy from them! Well worth it we love him so much already and he is adjusting well to the Kittens. He loves to play with other dogs but his sister is the one we love for him to play with so he can learn more about his bit. Plus some websites even say to only let the dog rough house with litter mates.. he plays with his pack of dogs (our friends dogs) and they all seem to like the little guy... I just keep wondering what will run through their heads when he get's to be full size! most of the dogs are bigger then him and play alpha.. but he could COULD get up to 200lb but I"m guessing he will be about 120 or so!
I am planning on starting obedience classes with him at the end of the month (earlier the better right) he gets his end round of shots at that same day so I might wait but they said it wouldn't be an issue! So far he can sit and shake already positive reinforcement really does work... he loves to walk and chew things but he has stopped chewing the table, and the shoes are out of reach now! LOL but he loves to chew his bed??? i don't get it but it's what he does!
so for my first time being a dog owner it's not that bad! the 6am mornings i'm starting to get use to!
he is a GREAT pup!!!
