Doing something out of the norm … at least for me

Normally I wait till the last minute for pretty much everything. Well Frank’s dad’s side of the family is coming over for holiday fun with snacks after we finish eating at Old Country Buffet. We never held a party for Christmas before so this should be fun. So far I have the menu planned out in my head I will be making an Apple butter cake (thanks mikes mom) , some dessert with red raspberry, Fruit platter, and maybe some finger foods. I am on the lookout for a new recipe to try more of a dessert even though I don’t like making sweeties I do like watching others eat them!! So if you know of any cool xmas themed desserts that isn’t a cake or cookie let me know... I figure I will have a punch bowl too for the kids. I can’t believe I have this much figured out so quickly. Go me!! More details to come but I have about a month to finalize everything including the decorations.

Web work has been getting demanding, photography not as much it finally cooled down a little bit. I hope this year I get to do the “trash the dress” with Sadie and the snow balls. I will have to check in with her on that. I have a few potential clients for web work that will help keep me busy over the winter. I just have to finalize the rates, one client is more of a video client, the other is more of a jewelry client. Both are in need of a web site and I have consulted them as well. I hate charging but I hate being away from my family time even more so because of that I have to start charging a more standard rate for my time.

I have been messing around with the content on my web site here and there I still hope to launch in the spring of 2011. I am hoping a good friend of mine will help me understand a bit of the technical information my web site is going that way and I’m not 100% up to date if you will. I will talk more about that after turkey day!!! Where I will be chilling up north.

I have to ask for your thoughts and prayers whatever you do to my dad’s friends Stormy was fighting a 3 year battle of cancer. She is no longer suffering and or fighting she left us this weekend. Everyone seems to be okay but thoughts and prayers never hurt! Thanks!

Sorry my posts haven’t been visual stimulating. I want to challenge your minds more and work more on my typing skills. HAHAHA
