New side work...

A co worker of mine must really think I have some mad skill and shoot maybe I do have more than I think. So my co worker has this son or nephew not sure what one needed this, but one of them needed this cartoon sketch colored.
Please note I do not own the following images I am must blogging about them because of the work i did To the sketch.

Looks sweet as is but i was requested to color it and do some other fine tuning of this, so here is what I did.
I darkened all lines I colored the hat jacket and face I made the black A white on the hat. The shoes were freaking the hardest part. I had to make the black red and add white to the black and I had some open areas, I also extended the pant leg to cover the socks. I traced the shoe laces and burnt the bottom shoe to show a little bit of depth.  The belt was black and red and is now red and white

So there are your close up images.. ha ha.. After all that was done I had to do some fun text things to add to this. I'm not sure if this will be a cd cover or a flier/poster thing for Spodee but I spent around 5 hours of work on this at a last minute rushed rate of 30 bucks an hour I just got hooked up!!! ;)  Not that I don't have enough projects in my life but this could be a side business that could bring in some extra cash. Frank and I talked about it and I could do some reasonable photo touch up's or "photoshopped" at a reasonable price unless it's last minute then the rates double.

Anyway here is the full image... would love your opinion.
