Okay i'm am completley geeked up.. i can't wait to get out of the states.. To see the different culter even if it is americanized. I hear i'll see some gecko's and other reptiles while we are on the isle. I double check the danger and I guess there is a base on the island and the only "Crime" is petty theift. good to know that i won't be kidnapped or anything.
but I also read that this island is not like the main downtown cancun.. it's more laid back.. and that's just our style!!
I can't wait to drink a corona with lime. I can't wait to have a smile ear to ear. I can't wait to sit on a beach and do NOTHING but watch any clouds slowly disipate in the air.
to hike to and around the mayan temple to ixchel. the goddess of love war and fertility says to be the wife of the sun. So keep your fingers cross because timing is PERFECTO!
the food i can't wait for .. the art.. i can't wait to buy new art!!! I love mexico's style in art it's always so bright and colorful. and "Loud" And I'm making my list for my gifts to bring back.
I know i need magnets and pencils thus far.
I don't know a lick of spanish and was going to try to learn and failed .. I don't think frank has the patenice to work with me on it as when ever we tried to talk in spanish he was frustrated because i didn't say it right.
like i say anything correctly to begin with. So we noticed that we would fight more. Even tho I really wanted to try to learn it i wasn't getting much help from frank so i'll just use the app. and not fully embrace it..
however this is such a blessing that i can't even explain it correctly.
but i am not going to understand half the people over there. there for i don't have to listen. YEs that means i have it clear I will be in my own little world.
I won't have my phone working but we will have some internet access at some times so i'll be taking our laptop so i can at least send up dates to a few peeps who want some photos. Not sure about the daily thing because well i might be passed out on a hammock on the beach or getting a full body rub down on the beach.. oh the endless water pools and the zip lines..
goodness i'm getting turned on i got to go!
