I wanted to see one of these and more in likely have seen them more then I realize. I was reading about these birds and their tuff of red only shows when "excited" or it's windy. lol funny fact about the birds and the bee's!

Now you see this isn't a wood pecker. Nope this is the Northern flicker. We got to see the birds fly by us by use of voice we called a few of these bad boys in from where they were so we could get a closer look.
(read disclaimer if you have issues with calling in birds thank you)

The below I am assuming is the Downing Woodpecker however some of my shots could be the Harry woodpecker. The only difference between the two are size and frankly it's hard to remember size in photographs and you can't use anything to size these birds. So one might be the Harry.
If you have any suggestions to tell them a part please share!
This was a complete surprise - I thought it as a chick- a- dee and it wasn't the below is in the warbler family... Got a few photos but not many turned out. The yellow on the wings help give it away!

| Yellow Rumped Warbler |
 |
| Mallard |
This is becoming my new favorite bird. The Red Bellied Woodpecker. It comes when you call and plays hide and seek with you!

Do you see the cutie playing above my head! He was directly above me and it was sweet!
Here is a nice side view of the pecker!
(yes i am thinking of how many people would really read that and giggle like i just did! Lol)
Mallard ducks again When taking this photograph i was focusing on the male duck .. Frank and I had no clue there was a female one there.. she blended in very well. When they all stood up i jumped! LOL
Below is another bird I realy wanted to see. we hear it all the time and never see it. Frank found it and I got a photo of it. I wish the photo was better but this is the tufted titmouse

The Tufted Titmouse has a very cute annoying song and I couldn't get the "tuft" to show.
Below is our guessing game. The following two images are TBI (to be identified) We have our guesses of an immuture Pine Warbler or a female/immuture Yellow Rumped Warbler. Any help would be apperciated!
Below is Downing or Harry Woodpecker Just so cute!
So yeah, Happy Easter to all. I am going to go to Cross Winds Marsh and get more Bird Photos.
With much love i'm out!
